I ...What a great way to record your true feelings!<br /><br />I know how you feel. My 2nd son was in the NICU for 9 days. For the first few days, he was on a ventilator, as well as drugs that pretty much knocked him out. Visiting him was - and here's my guilt - almost boring after 5 minutes or so. I would get his update from the nurses, and then sit and watch him for a little, although he did nothing.<br /><br />I ended up staying in a room just off the NICU, and got lots of sleep. It was the best way to physically recover from having a baby.<br /><br />Don't beat yourself up too much.
