Last week Betsy pointed out to me that she was having a hard time reading some of my pages. Just to let you know that if you click on the image, it will bring you to another page where the picture will be enlarged.
I was just checking to make sure that everything went through for the blog and was glancing at the pic of me and my dad and the one that I just scrapped of Lilly......she looks exactly like me! Hopefully she won't look like me when she grows up though!
Everyone say a big woohoo for Lillian!!!! She slept for 10 hours last night! She is on the verge of turning herself over, which I will of course capture with my camera (it's a disease I know!) She ate all of her oatmeal yesterday (yucko!) and we'll try some more tonight. I just love her in this little knit sweater and hat......maybe I'll learn how to make these someday!
She's getting smarter!!!! I tried taking pictures of Lilly yesterday because she kept on smiling. As soon as I put the camera up to my eye she would stop smiling! I caught one tiny little smirk but thought that this shot was cuter since she seemed to be trying so hard not to smile. She woke up once last night right before daddy got up in the morning which isn't too bad. She tried oatmeal cereal for the first time yesterday and she doesn't really seem to like it so we'll try again in a couple days!
Lilly slept through the night again which I was so happy about with all of the driving I did over the weekend! I actually woke up a couple of times and got out of bed then realized that she wasn't even crying. We went to the doctor today for her four month check-up. She's 23 1/2 inches and weighs 12 pounds 10 ounces. Dr. Gurski said that she is right on schedule and is actually ahead with some things when you consider that she's actually only 2 months. She wants me to continue to do everything that I'm doing since she looks so well. She said that she has a slight flat spot on the left side of her head so I should switch the side that she sleeps on and do some exercises with her head to strengthen the right side. Sadly she had to have some more shots today which I didn't realize. She cried a lot harder and for a lot longer this time so I had to hold her for a bit afterwards. She's watching TV at the moment and talking along with it......she's so cute!
Lilly found her thumb! She's been sticking it in her mouth while she eats her cereal and making quite the mess! Last night she slept 8 1/2 hours straight......her first time sleeping through the night!
I had to change Lilly's outfit earlier today because she got it a little messy and all of the sudden she just started talking to me. Luckily the camera was on the dresser and I was able to catch some of it!
Lilly started holding her head up this past weekend and it has been so much fun watching her look all around. She has her four month appointment next Monday and hopefully Dr Gurski will be happy with her progress.......I know I am. I just love being a mom!!!
She's still a Red Sox fan even though they stunk this year!
Me and Lilly went to my doctors appointment today to have my blood pressure checked and it's looking normal now that I'm on the meds. She's concerned about my thyroid so she wanted me to have blood drawn so I guess we'll see on that. We're packing again today for another trip to Shushan. Dan has a "crash 'em up car derby" tomorrow morning and I may go along for a laugh......it's certainly not something you see in my neck of the woods! Other than that not much else is going on. After this weekend we're going to lay low for a few weeks until we have to go back to Syracuse on the 5th for Lilly's baptism.
