Isn't she cute! Lilly is wearing a hat that her Great-Great Grandmother made for her. It's a little bit chilly today so she decided to get all bundled up and since she was awake I thought that I'd get a couple of pics before we hit the road. We went to Gymboree today to get her Christmas dress and I learned a very valuable lesson.......if you see something you like buy it!!! The one that me and Dan had originally picked was gone so I had to go with her second choice which is still adorable. It's red with a chiffon on the bottom and a matching sweater. I have to take pics of her in it this week so I can include pics in our Christmas cards. In the last picture she has a little tear running down her cheek......she seems to tear up a lot since becoming sick!

I was able to finish up my swap last night and I even cut everything up so that it's ready to go. All I have left to do is make my nametag. I'm looking forward to the get together and meeting some new people.....I just wish I had the opportunity to do something like this when we first moved out here!

Lillian has her first cold :o(.......it's not too bad at the moment and thankfully she doesn't have a fever. The nurse said that I'm doing everything right and that we'll just have to wait it out. She has the sweetest little cough and hearing her sniffle reminds me of when I was little and my doctor used to call me snuffleupagus. I raised her mattress and she's been taking some naps on and off throughout the morning. I just hope it doesn't last too long for her sake.

We had a wonderful weekend and it actually went by a little slower even with all of the traveling. We started off in CT for Thanksgiving on Thursday and left that night for NY. Thankfully the traffic wasn't too bad so it was an easy trip. Friday we had another turkey dinner in Syracuse. Saturday was spent relaxing and we left late last night. Lillian did well (as always) and looked so cute in both of her dresses. Today we're doing a little bit of cleaning and I'm going to start working on my stuff for the card swap that me and Betsy are going to in a couple of weeks!

This is the dress that Lillian will be wearing on Thursday. I wanted to make sure that I took pics of her in it before it got all messy! I'll be taking pics of her dress that she'll be wearing on Friday tomorrow.......hopefully she'll give me some nice smiles again!

I was cleaning off my desktop a couple of days ago so I could get rid of some things that I haven't used in awhile. While doing so, I stumbled upon this letter which I wrote to Lillian when I was in the hospital the day before she was born.

I finally made it to Wal-mart today (I can't stand that place!) to get the photo cd and copies made! My dad took some wonderful shots and I'm glad I asked him to take them! I also picked up a few things including one of those jumpers that hangs from the door, but it's missing a part so lucky me gets to go back tomorrow to exchange it! Hope everyone enjoys the pics!

Pics from our adventure!

Since we had nice weather this past Saturday we decided to do something outside. First we decided that we would walk along the reservoir since we have never been there before. Although it was a nice walk, we weren't really able to be close to to the water like I was hoping. On the way back we stopped at another park called Rock House Reservation. It was a really neat spot that had these huge rocks that were used by the Native Americans as shelter. Since it was a little late in the day, we took the short trail, but still had a really good time. It was just nice getting outside for the day!

Lillian rolled over this weekend! And she did it twice! Unfortunately the pics that I was able to take the second time after I ran into the bedroom to grab the camera came out blurry. It happened so fast and she just started laughing so hard! That's another thing that she started doing this weekend.....laughing! She's always made happy noises but on Saturday she actually made a continuous laugh and she was laughing so hard she started to get out of breath!

As we all know, Lillian doesn't cry too often (lucky me!) Even Father Kennedy was amazed that she didn't cry during her baptism this past Sunday. But, she does have her moments, although a big smile from mommy along with a funny voice usually makes it go away!

Time to make Christmas cards again! I haven't stamped in a very long time, mainly because of the cleanup afterwards. I was considering buying some this year, but it seemed like such a waste with all of the supplies stashed away in the closet. So I've made a couple and I'm still working on the finishing touches, but it was nice using my creativity again!

My little girl is 5 months today!!!

We had a wonderful, although fast paced weekend! Sadly I don't have any pictures to post from Lillian's baptism since my dad took all of the pics, but as soon as I get them transferred to CD I'll be able to post them. Lillian was an absolute angel (as always) and didn't cry at all during the whole ceremony. Thankfully she slept through the night so I could get some much needed rest! Today we're going to unpack and clean up a bit and hopefully Lilly will be able to catch up on some rest as well!

Another digidare where we had to scrap what our biggest fear is.

This is a picture that Dan took a couple of weeks ago that I forgot to post. He loves it because he thinks it looks like she's just chillin'!

Lilly is a little red on her chest in this pic because of the sweater (which I absolutely adore on her!) This is her first pair of jeans......I can't believe I didn't get a pair sooner! Today we're going to pick up her gown from the dry cleaners and I'm going to clean a little bit. She's been doing absolutely wonderful at night and always sleeps at least 8 hours which has been a huge relief for me. Up to a couple weeks ago she was taking 2-3 hour naps in between each feeding.......not anymore though! Now she's a 30 minute napper. So now we have fun and I read to her and try and teach her some new signs. She also likes watching Noggin (okay so do I!) Their shows are aimed at pre-schoolers and all of their shows are meant to promote learning. It also doesn't show any commercials and in between each show Moose A. Moose and Zee sing songs and stuff.......it's a really cute channel.....although I'm going to try and limit the amount of time she watches tv!
