So I made this baby hat with the intent of giving it to a family member, but then realized it will be way too warm by the time she's born. I basically had a hat making frenzy! Since it's too small for Lillian to wear (for a newborn), I thought that I would offer it to someone.I know I've been in a gift giving mood lately, but really, I have all of this stuff on hand and it only costs a couple of bucks to send via the post office. I figure it's the least I can do with all of the visitors I've had the past month leaving me all of the wonderful comments. So if you'd be able to use this, or know of someone that would be able to use it, leave me a comment below along with your email address. I'll accept names until this Thursday before I leave and let Lillian pick a name.....hopefully I'll be able to read it before she sticks it in her mouth!!!

This is SOOOO cute! Did you get Lillian to pose for a pic in it? I have a brand, new, GREAT, niece, but she is in Florida. I don't think she would get to wear it! Did you knit it? I am going to learn to knit! If you knitted it, will you share your wisdom with those less fortunate (have NO wisdom)...patterns, best way to learn, web groups, etc.

How cute! My DD received a handmade knitted hat from hospital volunteers when she was born and honestly it is probably my most favorite momento from her birth... other than her that is, lol. I'm sure whoever receives this will be so thrilled! It looks so warm and snuggly and perfect for a lil' one born during the cooler months. I have a friend who is due in April but I'm thinking that it will be getting warmer by then... still, it is ohhhhh so cute!!!! :D

That is the cutest little thing. I wish I knew some baby girls but I don't at the moment. I just wanted to let you know what a nice job you did. Some sweet baby girl will be very lucky to get this.

Oh... I would love to have this for my GD, born last week. Since there's only one hat, and many sweet deserving babies, could you share the name of the pattern book, and the brand/style of yarn you used? Occasionaly I can tear away from the computer & click some needles. Thanks!
