So I used Lauren's newest release (available only at Sweet Shoppe Designs) with the pic that I took of Lillian the other day and I thought that it turned out alright. The pic is a little grainy cause I had the ISO up high but I kinda like the effect. Today we're going to finish painting, run to the post office to get new stamps, and go to the store to pick up a few odds and ends. This week will sort of be a complete loss and I won't have any time to do much on the puter with all that will be happening this weekend.
If anyone has any finger food recipes they'd like to share send them this way (need to figure out what type of munchies to serve before cake) and maybe, just maybe if I use someones recipe I'll make a little altered project for ya!!!

Here's a great and simple little appetizer recipe:
Easy Fruit Dip
RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
1 jar marshmallow cream
1 container fruit-flavored spreadable cream cheese (strawberry or raspberry)
Strawberries
Grapes
Bananas, sliced
Kiwi, sliced
1. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the jar of marshmallow cream and entire container of cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.

2. Refrigerate for about an hour. Serve with fresh fruit.

It's super yummy and fresh fruit is always good in warm weather. My son LOOVES it.

We make these every New's Eve when we do just finger food type things:

Little Smokies
3" Bacon Strip (1/4 of a strip)
Wrap around smokie & stick tooth pick through
Put on broiler pan with holes
Sprinkle with brown sugar
Put in 350 degree oven for 1/2 hour.

Chili Cheese Dip
2 cans of no bean chili
1 pound of Velveta cheese
Cut cheese into small cubes and melt the cheese. Mix in chili. Serve with corn or tortilla chips.

Hope your party goes well. Can't wait to see pictures!!
